An End-Time Blog
1. First be a lover of truth even as Jesus is the way, The Truth and the life (John 14:6). All God’s works are done in truth (Psalms 33:4). See scripture as the authority and not be blown by every wind of doctrine (Ephesians 4:14) or manmade traditions (Mathew 15:6) that may be taught by others on the end-times. Therefore, correctly handle the word of God (2 Timothy 2:15).
2. Be a believer (John 3:16) who acquires the wisdom (Proverbs 4:7) of hearing from God (John 10:27) and have the Holy Spirit as your teacher (John 16:13).
3. Use mainline bibles and not modern paraphrase versions. The King James Version of the bible is commonly used in end-time study.
4. Central to end-time study is the orderly timeline of events in the book of Revelation.
5. Other end-time scriptures such as Mathew 24 will make sense when you see that the sun-moon-stars event is also found at the sixth seal in Revelation 6:12. Therefore you now have a bigger picture by combining the two scriptural blocks. The same will be true with other end-time scripture like found in Daniel as to how they can relate to the Revelation time-line.
6. Spend time with scripture as not to overlook any minute details that can carry over to relate to other scripture. Do not alter scripture (Revelation 22:18-19).
7. It can even take many years of study and divine inspiration to picture the end-times in steps. Some scriptural end-time events found outside of the book of Revelation can be difficult or seem impossible to place in an exact position on the Revelation timeline.
This blog is subject to ongoing study, rewording, additions & possible corrections.
Base your beliefs on your own honest study (Acts 17:11).
